So, in order to use our courses effectively, you should already have a basic knowledge of German.

However, you are of course free to work through our course on the side, even at the beginning of your learning process.

However, we strongly recommend a German level of B1 to B2 for maximum benefit.

Our language course is designed to meet the needs of practicing veterinarians in small animal and equine practices. It revolves primarily around communication with patient owners and colleagues.

 However, this knowledge can of course also help veterinary assistants in everyday work!

We know that the recognition process takes a long time. If you are waiting for the recognition of your professional license, our language course is a good idea to bridge the gap.

Our language course does not replace an officially certified basic German course. It is a specialized advanced course designed to support you in learning veterinary terminology and to prepare you for everyday working life in a German veterinary practice.

So, for the recognition process of your license, you still need to reach B2 level at a certified language school or take a legally required exam.

No live events are included in the Do it yourself E-learning package.

You can also upgrade your package later on:

Of course! You can book these directly by contacting the language teachers. Simply speak to the language teachers in the live courses or write an e-mail to kontakt@deutschkurs-tieraerzte.com. 

Wenn Sie für einen Live-Termin zugesagt haben, müssen Sie diesen mindestens 72 Stunden vor Kursbeginn per E-Mail an kontakt@deutschkurs-tieraerzte.com absagen. Anderenfalls wird die gebuchte Live-Veranstaltung als teilgenommen gewertet, auch wenn Sie live nicht dabei waren. Entsprechend reduziert sich die Anzahl der Live-Veranstaltungen Ihres Paketes.

You have 1 year to complete your courses.

There are exercises where you have to pronounce words and phrases correctly. These exercises are only compatible with a Google Chrome browser.

Therefore, you will need a working microphone for these exercises and you will need to work through the course via the Google Chrome browser.

All exercises must be completed entirely and correctly. Only then can you mark the lesson as complete and start the next chapter.

However, you can repeat each exercise as many times as you like to achieve a correct result.

Yes.
They can access their course content for 1 year and repeat a majority of the exercises multiple times during that time.

If you have successfully completed all booked modules, you will receive a certificate directly in the course system. For the completion of your booked colleague interviews and language courses, you will receive another certificate from us upon request. Our certificate serves as proof for your employer that you have successfully completed your training. It does not replace an official language certificate.
